Lost & Found Dogs
Please send us the picture of the found or lost canine and we will post it in this section. Please make sure you follow these steps:
1. Call K9 Friends on 04-3474611 and see if anybody is missing a pet or if yours has been found.
2. Call Dubai Municipality (Veterinary Section, 04-2891114) and check if anybody is missing a pet or found yours.
3. Posters. Distribute small posters in your neighbourhood and supermarkets in the area. Notice should contain a photo of the dog, your contact detail and preferably a promise a reward - this should help spreading the word faster.
4. Call all veterinary clinic around the town and inform them about your lost/found animal.
5. Visit online forums such as Expatwoman.com, expatgossip.com, expatjam.com and others. Online talk travels fast.
3. Send us the picture and/or short description of the dog. Where and when was he seen last time? Include as many details as you can.
ANZAC

(Found in desert on Anzac day)
jabs (rabies, distemper & Leptospira).
She is very sweet tempered, friendly and playful, and a good healthy puppy.
She is bright, and quick to learn, and walks well on a lead. I have started
very simple training (sitting before crossing roads etc) and she is doing OK
considering how young she is.
She is a sweet soul, and deserves a good home, where I know she will make a
fabulous companion. She is going to be quite big, but slim (saluki build I
think). Luckily, she is so sweet natured, she will be a gorgeous dog.
I really hope someone will take her. It will break my heart parting with
her, but she needs a bigger garden.

Akira needs help!
I have a dog who is 18 months old, but I have become victim to the rent problem in Dubai. I am being evicted at the end of May 2008 and I desperately need to rehome my dog, as I can not afford a villa and we are having to move into an apartment; of which the dog is not allowed.
I have been advertising the dog for the last month or so and have had no real interest. K9 friends are over subscribed and can not help at the moment; therefore I am running out of ideas and time.
Any help you can give me, will be much appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Stephen Bisseker
